The kitchen is the most important room in your house. People don't just use a kitchen to cook in these days. As they say, "the party always ends up in the kitchen"

When J D Joinery take on the job of fitting a kitchen we do it the way it should be done. From the design stage, to the last stroke of a paintbrush we can take on your full project from start to finish.

It is very important to have some idea of a budget. From first contact, after some all important questions and a home visit, we will try our best to design your kitchen to suit your budget, & requirements and give you the best advice possible to give you the kitchen of your dreams. Keep in mind that 90% of clients will under estimate the cost of having a kitchen fully fitted. Remember a kitchen is a whole room not just units, worktops & appliances. If the whole room is not done properly the kitchen will look unfinished.

These questions will be important when working out a budget. Although this is just a guide and not always necessary. Look at your whole room. How does your ceiling and walls look, is it artexed? Old channel lining maybe. Are there tiles or wallpaper to be removed? Are there any cracks?

If these things need done chances are to do the job right it will need to be plastered & painted? This all helps the finished look & makes the job so much easier for everyone involved. What about the floor? What is on it at the moment? What are you going to replace it with? Will it need prepared for a new floor covering? Will the electrics need altered? Do they need to be brought up to the current regulations? Do you want new lighting? Do you want new socket faces? What colour?  Is there gas work required? Is there additional pipework required? Do you want any tiling done? Walls, floor or both. And to finish, what colour will you paint the walls?

We like to walk out your house at the end of the job knowing that the only thing you have to do is fill your new kitchen cabinets.

All work will be carried out by time served tradesmen.

Any electrical work will be carried out by a qualified team of electricians and the appropriate certificate given.

All gas work will be carried out by a qualified gas safe registered plumber.
